STORY:
Inspired by the cherry blossom trees that bloom in front of my house every spring, this piece reflects resilience and renewal. The trees stay quiet through fall and winter, then explode with beauty and color reminding me how we, too, can come back stronger. Each blossom, like each human, falls at its own pace, for its own reason. But we rise again.

STORY:
Made from a $25 silk kimono originally priced over $500, this set reimagines tradition. The gold represents the Gold Rush history of San Francisco. Orange and green pay homage to the SF Giants and Oakland A’s. Designed and sewn with care, the top mimics a Hawaiian shirt, and the skirt is pleated, practical, and poetic, built around asymmetry and lived experience.

STORY:
Inspired by KAPITAL and the sashiko tradition, this denim combines kimono scraps collected from the same market as the original set. Each piece is hand-stitched using a modern take on Japanese mending, blending imperfections with intention. The result: a balance of heritage and heat.
